Refreshment is offered in front of historic St. John's Episcopal Church to protesters as multi-confessional clergy showed they support and opposition to President Trump on Wednesday, June 3, 2020. Police and National Guard troops cleared out demonstrators in the immediate area around the church, using tear gas, smoke canisters, and pepper balls, to allow President Donald Trump a photo opportunity standing in front of the church on May 31, 2020 that was condemned by Episcopal bishop of Washington.
